Copyright & Disclaimer

As a global inspiration think tank and professional ecological platform for the exhibition design industry, WeHow (www.wehow.cn) attaches great importance to the protection of intellectual property rights. To maintain platform order and protect the legitimate rights and interests of original authors and related right holders, we have formulated this Copyright and Disclaimer Statement.

Before using WeHow platform services or submitting content to us, please be sure to read this statement carefully. Your use or submission behavior constitutes your full acceptance of all the contents of this statement.

I. Copyright of Platform Original Content

  • Platform Exclusive Content: All content created by the official WeHow team, including but not limited to “WeHow Observations” columns, exclusive in-depth reports, original videos, “Exhibition Builders” interview transcripts, platform UI design, layout architecture, exclusive LOGOs, and brand visual identities, are subject to complete copyright and related intellectual property rights owned by the WeHow platform.
  • Restrictions on Authorized Use: Without explicit written authorization from the WeHow platform, no institution or individual may use the aforementioned original content on any third-party platform in any form (including but not limited to: scraping, copying, mirroring, secondary editing, or establishing mirror sites). Authorized reprinted content must indicate “Source: WeHow (www.wehow.cn)” and the original author’s information as required.

II. Copyright of Submitted Works and User-Generated Content (UGC)

  • Ownership of Copyright: For project cases (including text, images, drawings, videos, etc.), agency profiles, and personal portfolios submitted or published on the WeHow platform (including the official website, mini-programs, and official social media matrix) by design agencies, independent curators, digital art teams, and other users, the original copyrights belong to the original authors or legally authorized persons.
  • Platform Use Authorization: Upon successful submission or publication, the user is deemed to have granted the WeHow platform a worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, and non-exclusive right of information network dissemination and right of adaptation. WeHow has the right to make necessary layout optimizations, title polishing, and thumbnail cropping, and to display and distribute the content on WeHow’s main website, WeChat official account, Xiaohongshu, overseas social media, and industry communities.
  • Attribution Display: When promoting users’ works, the platform will strictly abide by industry norms and make every effort to objectively indicate the primary design party, multimedia/hardware partners, and photography/videography copyright owners in prominent positions.

III. Disclaimer for Multi-Party Industry Collaboration and Infringement

Given that exhibition and digital art projects are usually completed collaboratively by multiple parties, including owners (clients), curators, space designers, multimedia content teams, construction parties, and professional photographers, the following disclaimer is expressly made:

  • Guarantee of Lawful Publication: Submitters must ensure that the submitted project cases have obtained explicit authorization and permission from all relevant participating parties of the project (especially regarding client confidentiality agreements and photographer copyrights).
  • Exemption from Disputes: If any disputes arise over the right of authorship, leakage of commercial secrets, or copyright ownership due to the multi-party joint creation of a project, the submitter/agency shall bear all legal and economic responsibilities themselves. As a neutral information display platform, WeHow does not intervene in specific commercial and copyright disputes, nor does it bear any direct or joint liability for compensation.
  • Disclaimer for External Links: Platform articles may contain third-party web links or external cloud drive download links for materials. Such links are provided solely for the convenience of industry users’ communication and reference. WeHow is not responsible for the legality, security, and accuracy of third-party link content.

IV. Infringement Complaint and Handling Mechanism (Notice and Takedown)
