俄罗斯 Trimurti 音乐节 – “Noosphere”户外互动艺术装置 / Inty++

Noosphere 是一场小型户外艺术展，以斯拉夫字母为灵感，为 2015 俄罗斯“文学年”特别创作的三组艺术装置。展览设于每年夏天在莫斯科郊外森林举行的 Trimurti 音乐节。
Noosphere is a small outdoor art exhibition. Inspired by Cyrillic alphabet, we created three art installations dedicated to the Year of Literature in Russia in 2015. Exhibition took place at Trimurti festival, which takes place every summer in a forest outside of Moscow.

我们热爱参加音乐节，偶尔还会带上设备，在现场制造一点魔法。Trimurti 便是这样一场每年夏天在莫斯科郊外森林举办的音乐节。2015 年，俄罗斯“文学年”之际，我们以斯拉夫字母为灵感，创作了三组装置作品。
We love to visit music festivals, and every once in a while, we bring some gear and create some magic. One such festival is Trimurti, which takes place every summer in a forest outside of Moscow. In 2015, the Year of Literature in Russia, we created three installations using the Cyrillic alphabet for inspiration.

投影网装置
Nets

由于森林是难以预测的作业环境，该项目我们采用了投影网。我们选择了树木高大笔直的场地，得以将网铺设成最高达 9 米的矩形区域。其中两套装置呈平直表面状，第三套则是眼形的分层网状三维结构。微软 Kinect 传感器为装置实现了互动功能。
Because a forest is an unpredictable environment to work in, we relied on projection nets for this project. We chose a location with high and straight trees which allowed us to span the net in a rectangle of up to nine meters high. While two installations resembled straight surfaces, the third was an eye-shaped, three-dimensional structure of layered nets. A Microsoft Kinect provided interactivity.

It’s Raining Letters

站在第一套装置前时，Kinect 会捕捉用户的身形并在网上可视化呈现。随后字母开始落在身形轮廓上，用户可与字母互动 —— 用手臂接住，或让字母从身上弹开。若将键盘连接到这套装置，访客可自选字母，让整个矩形区域被字母填满，再观看字母倾泻至地面。第三项互动内容允许访客输入大号字母：最多可堆叠 5 个，输入第 6 个时会触发字母坍塌效果。
When standing in front of the first installation, the Kinect picked up the user’s shape and visualized it on the net. Then letters started to rain down on the silhouette, and the user could interact with them, catch them in his arms or let them bounce off his surface. When a keyboard was attached to this setup, visitors could choose the letters, let the entire rectangle fill up and then watch the letters pour into the ground. A third content item allowed the visitor to type in large letters – up to five could be stacked on top of each other, the sixth caused a collapse.

故障艺术互动装置
Glitches

眼形装置同样配备了键盘。输入字母后，字母会出现在装置中心，随后通过故障艺术效果成倍复制并向外扩散。第三套装置会呈现四处移动的 3D 图形，这些图形会组合形成字母轮廓。装置还搭配了若干管状灯具，它们与数字内容联动 —— 当故障效果干扰字母时，灯具会随之闪烁。
The eye-shaped installation also included a keyboard. When typing in a letter, it appeared in the center and then multiply and spread outward, using a glitch effect. The third setup showed 3D shapes that moved around to form outlines of letters. It also included a few tube-like lamps that were connected to the digital content – when a glitch effect disturbed the letter, the lamps flickered accordingly.

声音设计
Sound

由于这是一场音乐节，我们不想错过听觉体验，因此为三套装置均设计了专属音效。此次音乐节约有 7000 名观众，许多人都来到我们这片小角落，尽情与字母互动玩乐。
Since this was a music festival, we didn’t want to miss out on the audio experience and installed a sound design for all three installations. The festival counted around 7000 visitors, many of whom visited our little neck of the woods and played with the alphabet.
