Austrian firm Delugan Meissl has completed the design of the Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang, the largest automotive cultural center in South Korea. The project integrates multiple functions — including car sales, brand showcases, customer entertainment experiences, and a series of exhibition spaces. The entire building is defined by three iconic design elements: landscape, vertical green, and shaped sky, which together create an immersive automotive culture experience.


在建筑内部,地景、垂直绿化与造型天空这三大元素贯穿整个汽车文化中心,同时又不影响对汽车展品的观赏。汽车以多角度的方式展示于空间之中,整体布局仿若城市或自然地貌,让访客可以自由穿梭其中。设计的首要挑战是如何将多重功能整合于同一建筑体内——销售区域、品牌中心、汽车主题乐园以及多个办公空间以横向方式堆叠,并通过垂直的设计元素加以联结。
Inside the motor studio, the elements of landscape, vertical greenery, and sculpted sky are seamlessly integrated throughout the space, carefully arranged so as not to obstruct views of the vehicles. The automobiles are displayed from diverse vantage points, within a spatial arrangement inspired by urban and natural landscapes, encouraging visitors to explore freely. One of the main challenges for the architects was to accommodate a wide range of functions within a single building. Sales zones, a brand center, an automotive theme park, and office spaces are arranged in horizontal layers, linked by vertically oriented design features.

在主题展线的核心亮点是一座极具视觉冲击力的动态雕塑装置,她生动演绎了现代汽车”以动感塑设计”的品牌哲学——1411根铝制金属杆通过流体力学般的动态变幻,最终凝练出现代汽车的标志性设计语言。
The centerpiece of the thematic exhibition is a visually striking kinetic sculpture that vividly embodies Hyundai Motor’s brand philosophy of “design through movement.” Composed of 1,411 aluminum rods, the installation shifts and flows with fluid, dynamic motion, ultimately crystallizing into the iconic design language that defines Hyundai vehicles.







多媒体编舞向参观者传达了建模和设计过程的感受。充满能量的动态雕塑、视频、音乐和灯光的综合运用,使设计室成为一个独特的景点,将高质量的内容和创新技术融合在一次震撼的体验中。
The multimedia choreography communicates a feeling for the modelling and design process to visitors. The energy filled synthesis of kinetic sculpture, video, music and light makes the Design Room a unique attraction, uniting high quality content and innovative technology in a sensational experience.
