受瓦格纳歌剧《帕西法尔》中的名言“时间变空间”的启发，我们将这个曾经的钟表制作学堂设计成体验式的展示空间，以表现时间这个主题。历史与时空的安排为观众提供了一条“时钟”似的参观流线。自然采光的历史展区部分，讲述1845年以来格拉苏蒂钟表厂的历史。时间的连续性被几个黑暗的时间展区切断，在那里不同的灯光效果与多媒体场景给予观众不同的体验方式，并展现时间或计时领域的不同方面。
Largely supported by Wagner´s citation „Time becomes space“ (Parsifal), the topic of time is experienced in a new way inside the premises of the former school of watchmaking. The sequence of History Rooms and Time Rooms offers a „clocked“ course to the visitor. In the daylight, the History Rooms show the history of the watch industry in Glashütte is told from 1845 until today. The shaded time rooms interrupt the time continuum by inserting a special aspect of time or time measurement into the scene.
