The project is situated in the 751D·park Fashion Design Plaza in Beijing, connected to the renowned 798 Art District, collectively forming an extensive art zone. The area, once the site of the 751 Gas Factory, retains the industrial ambience of the 1970s, with its red brick walls preserving the traces of that era.

The designer has preserved the original building’s red brick exterior walls, thus maintaining the historical ambiance of the site. Simultaneously, there have been design renovations to the facade, creating connectivity between the indoor and outdoor leisure areas, forming a transparent unity that emphasizes the sense of relaxation.

In response to the unique characteristics of the art district, the designer departs from the conventional design approach of typical tea stores. Instead, they perceive the space as an art exhibition and draw inspiration from polka dot art. Conceptualizing around stars, the universe, and Zen, the designer ingeniously incorporates more than 20 black glossy spherical objects throughout the space.

These spheres, extending from the exterior facade into the interior, create an intriguing contrast with the traditional red brick architecture.

Symbolizing the boundless possibilities of contemporary artistic imagination, these spheres also reflect the distinctive elements of the brand’s signature product, “Black Sugar Bubble Milk Tea,” achieving a clever integration with the industrial ambiance of the setting.
